The Laredo Center for the Arts is excited to welcome native Laredoan, Maite Gomez-Rejón for a virtual cooking class with a historic twist!

Join Maite on Wednesday, August 5th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from the comfort of your home kitchen as you take a virtual trip to Nuevo Laredo in the 1920s. Unfold layers of stories from the beloved Cadillac Bar while you prepare a simple meal inspired by its menu.

As the creator of ArtBites, Gomez-Rejón has made a unique name for herself among culinary and art lovers alike through her internationally acclaimed classes, lectures, and tastings weaving art and culinary history at museums and universities and through videos on her YouTube channel, ArtBites: Cooking Art History.

The 90-minute culinary experience will include a list of ingredients and the recipes upon registration. Register now at $50 per viewing participant.
