Art Wars: A Star Wars Exhibit

December 22, 2016

The Laredo Center for the Arts in collaboration with Sketchbomb Laredo is proud to present "Art Wars: A Star Wars inspired art exhibit."

There is no denying that Star Wars has fueled our imaginations since its inception. The mythology of Star Wars has had a huge impact on our society and pop culture.

Local artists are using "The Force" to come together to celebrate that mythology and the release of Rogue One with their art. All Jedis young and old are invited to come experience a galaxy far far away as interpreted through local artists. "Art Wars" will showcase an exciting range of original 2-D art and sculptures.

"Art Wars" Opening Reception will take place on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 6 pm-8 pm. The evening will feature a dj set by The Pop Rocks and a special performance by Nakawe.
