Salvador Muñoz, IV began his music studies at the age of 7 years old taking music lessons on and off with various instructors. In middle school, Muñoz began receiving classical guitar instruction when he joined the guitar club at Mary Help of Christians school and later that year joined Morales Fine & Performing Arts under the direction of guitarist, Carlos A. Morales, Jr. In 2018, Salvador competed at the Texas A&M International Guitar Symposium and Competition at College Station, Texas placing 2nd place in the middle school division. In the following school year, 2019-2020, Muñoz participated and advanced to state for U.I.L. Solo and Ensemble. Currently, Munoz is working on again advancing to state for U.I.L. Solo and Ensemble as well as participating virtually in classical guitar competitions across the nation.
