As we continue to work together to limit the spread of COVID-19 by practicing social distancing and avoiding public events, LCA will continue to cultivate a cultural and fine arts climate through our Art & Performance Summer Series.
We have created a platform to promote the arts and empower artists by showcasing free virtual artist performances and artistic demonstrations by musicians, dancers, poets, and artists.
Let’s celebrate artists who continue to inspire, elevate, and enlighten us during these difficult times.
This week’s installment in our Art & Performance Summer Series will be a Musical Performance by Luis Parra. Luis “Luigi” Parra is a self taught pianist & flautist. He currently resides in Laredo, Texas and is a 2015 graduate from Martin High School. He was a member of the Martin High School band and began playing the piano the semester before the end of his senior year in high school. From that day forward, he has continued pursuing his passion. He’s inspired by modern pianists such as Kyle Landry and Francesco Parrino. He enjoys listening to orchestral movements by Beethoven and Mozart. He also enjoys connecting with people through his music. He is delighted when people express the joy they feel when they watch him perform! He firmly believes that music heals the soul!
