The Laredo Center for the Arts is excited to welcome native Laredoan, Julio Gomez-Rejón for our Tequila Quarantine virtual fundraiser.
Join Julio on Friday, December 4th from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on an adventure of the liquid culture of Mexico from the comfort of your own home. Let’s celebrate Mexico’s cultural spirit with Julio as he offers his vast knowledge of the different geographical locations where these fine samplings come from. Let Julio transport you to those locations while you sip on the sampling’s and expand your appreciation for tequila and it’s complexities.
Participants who register for this virtual fundraiser will receive an event kit, which will be hand-delivered or mailed directly to their homes.
The event kit will include 4 samples of Tequila, Pox, Mezcal, and Sotol with citrus pairings, information on the Mexican distilled spirits included, a custom tequila shot glass, an artisan salt sample, and 2 raffle tickets with 27 different chances to win an art piece, artist raffle catalog, and zoom link upon registration. The fee is $100 per viewing participant.
