The Laredo Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization that encourages self-expression through visual art, dance, music, literacy and theater. We believe that art is an essential part of any thriving community where the arts lift the spirit and raise the collective consciousness of every person. We collaborate with artists and artistic organizations in an effort to facilitate mutual support, recognition, and the exchanging of ideas. We also work to encourage a thriving community of artists and appreciation of art and facilitate classes, lectures, performances, and exhibits in an effort to enrich the lives of all citizens of Laredo and the surrounding areas. The Laredo Center for the Arts strives to unleash the artistic potential of every community member.
